Wellness Facilities User Agreement

Welcome

Your health, safety and wellbeing are important to us. This agreement applies to anyone using the wellness facilities at Saints Green Place, including the sauna, hot tub, cold plunge, red light therapy bed and any future wellness or recovery facilities.

By booking or using these facilities, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to the terms below.

 

Health Declaration

By using our wellness facilities, you confirm that:

  • You are aged 18 years or over.

  • You participate voluntarily and at your own risk.

  • You are responsible for ensuring that the facilities are suitable for your own health and fitness.

  • You will seek medical advice before using the facilities if you have any concerns.

You should not use the facilities without medical approval if you:

  • Are pregnant or think you may be pregnant.

  • Have a heart condition or cardiovascular disease.

  • Have uncontrolled high or low blood pressure.

  • Have epilepsy or a seizure disorder.

  • Have a fever, infection or contagious illness.

  • Have recently undergone surgery or medical treatment that may be affected by heat, cold or light therapy.

  • Are under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs or medication that may impair judgement or heat tolerance.

  • Have any other medical condition that could be adversely affected by use of the facilities.

If your health changes after accepting these terms, you agree to stop using the facilities until you have sought appropriate medical advice.

 

General Rules

All users agree to:

  • Follow all instructions and signage.

  • Respect other guests and maintain a peaceful environment.

  • Maintain good personal hygiene.

  • Stay well hydrated before and after use.

  • Leave any facility immediately if feeling dizzy, faint, nauseous, unwell, overheated or excessively cold.

  • Report any faults, accidents or injuries promptly.

  • Use the facilities responsibly and only for their intended purpose.

 

Sauna

When using the sauna you agree to:

  • Follow the recommended session time.

  • Sit on a towel.

  • Drink water before and afterwards.

  • Exit immediately if you feel unwell.

 

Hot Tub

When using the hot tub you agree to:

  • Shower before entering where requested.

  • Enter and leave the hot tub carefully.

  • No glass or breakable items are permitted.

  • No diving, jumping or unsafe behaviour.

  • Leave immediately if you feel unwell.

 

Cold Plunge

Cold water immersion places sudden demands on the body.

Please:

  • Enter slowly and under control.

  • Exit immediately if you feel distressed or unable to control your breathing.

  • Use the cold plunge only within your own limits.

 

Red Light Therapy Bed

Red light therapy is provided as a wellness and recovery experience and is not intended to diagnose, treat or cure medical conditions.

Users agree to:

  • Follow all instructions provided.

  • Wear any recommended eye protection.

  • Inform Saints Green Place if they have a condition or are taking medication that increases light sensitivity.

 

Unsupervised Use

Some facilities may occasionally be available without staff present.

By choosing to use the facilities at these times, you accept responsibility for monitoring your own wellbeing and for leaving any facility immediately if you experience discomfort or feel unwell.

 

Assumption of Risk

Participation in wellness activities involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:

  • Dehydration

  • Dizziness

  • Fainting

  • Burns

  • Slips, trips and falls

  • Changes in blood pressure

  • Muscle strains

  • Adverse reactions to heat or cold

  • Aggravation of existing medical conditions

By using the facilities you voluntarily accept these risks.

 

Liability

Nothing within this agreement excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

Subject to this, Saints Green Place accepts no responsibility for injury, illness, loss or damage arising from the misuse of the facilities or from failure to follow the guidance provided.

 

Damage to Property

Users are expected to treat all facilities and equipment with care and respect.

Any deliberate or negligent damage may result in the cost of repair or replacement being charged.

 

Future Visits

This agreement applies to all future visits unless replaced or updated.

Each time you make a booking, you confirm that your health has not materially changed since you accepted these terms and that you continue to agree to this User Agreement.
